QMRA and Its Applications to Bioaerosol Research
QMRA and Its Applications to Bioaerosol Research Quantitative Microbial Risk Assessment (QMRA) is a research framework for relating environmental microbiological data to the probability of a health endpoint, such as infection. This framework is useful for understanding the potential public health impacts of environmental and occupational scenarios and can inform policy and intervention implementation. In this talk, we will provide an overview of QMRA and give examples of published and on-going risk assessments related to transmission via bioaerosols. Lastly, we will provide information on QMRA training opportunities for those wishing to utilize this framework in their research.
